CNC Plasma Cutting Features
Like many other types, plasma metal processing is more affordable than other types of cutting, such as gas cutting metal, for example. The technique has its own characteristics. The method of processing metal means local heating of the metal bar in the separation zone. Metal billet melts under the highest possible temperatures due to the directed plasma jet, which is formed by using a specialized machine.
There is also air-plasma cutting of metal sheets, an effective technique, implying a process in which the melting of a metal billet occurs under the influence of a high-temperature ionized gas. This gas is supplied under pressure. The plasma jet quickly heats and softens the metal billet, cutting the sheet into its component parts, cutting a part or billet along a predetermined contour. This metal cutting as a technique is offered at a low cost in any volumes.
